For twenty-five years Matt has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. His practice provides a comprehensive array of investment services in the accumulation, preservation and transfer of wealth. Matt combines discipline and compassion to help clients reach their goals through a dynamic process and individually designed plans.

Matt began his career in 1999 as a Financial Advisor with A.G. Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. In 2007, he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination and meeting stringent experience requirements. In 2013, Matt achieved the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation through the American College. This program provides him with the knowledge and skills necessary to help his clients realize their philanthropic aspirations.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, Matt served as a Naval officer aboard the USS Nicholson. While stationed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Virginia, he obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from Strayer University.

Out of the office, you can find Matt on a local bike trail or trout stream.
