We have several opportunities for you to volunteer and assist the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council. Here are just a few:
Board Service - Members of the board serve a two year term and provide leadership and guidance to the council. You can serve as an officer, committee chair, or at-large member of the board.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee - This commitee works on DEI issues to help the council plan programming and events to meet our DEI goals.
Emerging Philanthropy Conference Committee - This committee works to host the annual Emerging Philanthropy Conference including the selection of presenters for the conference.
Legislative Affairs Committee - This committee reports on relevant policy and legislative updates on the state and national level
Marketing/Social Media Committee - This committee works to promote awareness of planned giving among professionals and the public, and its consideration as a vehicle of giving to nonprofit organizations by charitably minded citizens
Membership Committee - This committee works to market and promote the benefits of membership through a variety of public relations and marketing techniques
Partnership Committee - This committee works to development partnerships and sponsorships to help offset the costs of providing high quality programs.
Programming Committee - This committee provides continuing education to planned giving professionals in the technical, legal, accounting and marketing aspects of planned giving.
Resource Committee - This committee works to foster the identification of resources, including individual practitioners, available to planned giving professionals in need of advice and counseling.
Website Task Force - This committee assist with the development and maintance of the website.
Welcoming Committee - Members of this committee act as host at our meetings to help guests and new members feel connected and welcomed to our events.
