We are looking for an outstanding customer service and data management professional to join the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Development team and provide internal support to the department’s overall fundraising plan. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is an arts presenter, facilities operator and economic development organization located in downtown Pittsburgh. With an annual budget of $70 million, the Trust manages more than 10 performance/exhibition venues, facilitates over 2,000 performances annually and partners with other arts organizations to encourage more people to live, work, and play in the Cultural District.
The Development Systems Assistant will provide data entry/management to support donor services for individual, corporate, and public sector giving. The Assistant will work closely with the entire Development Team and interdepartmentally within the organization to coordinate and oversee annual and special projects. To accomplish this work, the Assistant must be familiar with all aspects of the organization, the Trust’s product lines, the Partners and Circles Membership Programs, and the Trust’s donor/ticketing database system, Tessitura.
Processes daily contributions for Partner level individual giving utilizing the CRM software, Tessitura.
Produces donor acknowledgement letters, including running and mailing acknowledgement letters and membership packets twice per week.
Creates basic biographical profiles for donor meetings, dinners, and events.
Assists with larger events such as the annual Gala, yearly festivals and other special projects as assigned as well as attends evening and weekend donor/fundraising events.
Provides staff support for Development-related issues as needed and other departmental duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, data management or related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience working in an administrative position with strong customer service and data management skills required.
- Candidates must have experience working with database systems along with detail-orientation, ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills.
