Emerging Philanthropy Conference

The Emerging Philanthropy Conference is the region’s premier event for fundraisers, hosted annually since 2003 by the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of AFP and the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council. This conference offers a valuable opportunity for professional development, networking, and collaboration within the fundraising community.

We are excited to announce that the 2024 conference, held on Friday, September 27, was our most successful yet! Building on last year’s attendance of 218, we set a new record with 234 attendees this year.

A special thank you goes to MC Houser and the entire EPC Planning Committee for organizing such an outstanding event. From expert-led sessions on topics like social media fundraising, donor retention, and grant writing, to the networking opportunities that connected professionals across the philanthropic field, it was a day filled with learning, inspiration, and growth.
